HausOfPlay – Terms of Service

To ensure the safety of your little guests and the longevity of our equipment, HausOfPlay requires all clients to carefully read, understand, and agree to the following terms prior to booking.

General

• A travel fee applies for events outside a 20-mile radius of Longview, TX (see pricing sheet for details).

• HausOfPlay reserves the right to refuse service for any justifiable reason, including but not limited to: unsanitary or unsafe spaces, hazardous setups, or any behavior that puts staff or equipment at risk.

• Any form of verbal, physical, or sexual harassment toward our team will result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Payment Terms

• A $100 non-refundable retainer is required to reserve any package. Bookings are not confirmed until this retainer is paid. This amount will go toward the total package price.

• The remaining balance is due before setup begins—no exceptions.

• Rentals are for up to 4 hours from the event start time unless previously agreed otherwise.

• A $100 refundable damage/cleaning deposit is required for every booking.

Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance to avoid loss of deposit.

• No refunds are issued for cancellations due to inclement weather. Clients booking outdoor events must have an indoor backup location.

• In the rare case HausOfPlay cannot fulfill the booking due to an emergency, a full refund will be issued.

Outdoor Use Policy

• If there is any chance of rain, we will not set up outdoors—no exceptions. A dry, indoor backup location is required.

• Clients must protect equipment from weather at all times.

• Outdoor areas must be flat, shaded, clean, and free of debris. We do not set up on dirt, gravel, or wet grass.

• Strong winds or stormy weather require immediate shutdown of inflatable equipment.

• If a bouncy house begins to deflate, contact us immediately.

Equipment Use Guidelines

• Play area must be clean and clear before setup (no pet waste, sharp debris, or furniture in the area).

• No liquids, food, or drinks near any equipment.

• Equipment must not be moved once set up.

• Any equipment soiled by diapers, vomit, blood, or other fluids must be disinfected immediately by the client.

• Misuse or reckless play may result in damage fees.

Equipment Pick-Up Policy

• All personal items must be removed from the play area at pick-up.

• If more than a few balls are left outside the play area, a $25 cleanup fee may apply.

• If equipment is returned excessively dirty or damaged, the $100 deposit may be forfeited, and additional charges may apply.

• Please allow 60–90 minutes for setup and takedown.

• Play area must be cleared by pick-up time.

Play Rules (Client Must Enforce)

• No shoes inside play area.

• No food, drinks, gum, or candy in or around play space.

• No sharp objects or jewelry.

• No children over age 4 (unless specified, e.g., toddler bouncer).

• All children must be supervised at all times by an adult.

• No smoking near the play area.

• No rough play or pushing.

• No messy items (slime, glitter, markers, confetti, etc.).

• Equipment must remain inside the designated area.

• All rentals must conclude by 7:00 PM unless agreed otherwise.

• Weight limits: Toddler bouncers – 120 lbs (1–3 toddlers). Large toddler moonwalk – 400 lbs (kids 10 and under).

Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

All equipment is used at your own risk. HausOfPlay is not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from misuse, unsupervised use, or failure to follow safety rules.

The client assumes full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss occurring during the rental period, including guests, guardians, and children present.

By booking with HausOfPlay, you agree to release and hold harmless HausOfPlay and its staff from all liability for injuries, illness, property damage, or other claims arising from use of the rented equipment.

By signing or submitting the booking form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms stated above.
